The crystals just require hot water to be added to dissolve the crystals. Once the crystals dissolve you can put your beads into the container for an all over etch. Highly recommend using string or cotton to place the bead in the solution to reduce contact with this mild acid.

The finish is more consistent overall than etching cremes. Use nail polish to create spots that you don't want etched and remove the nail polish later to for a special clear window into your beads.
