Can I purchase Full or Half glass sheets?
As at August 2023, we will start offering uncut sheets of glass. What this includes is Full sheets of Oceanside (60x60cm) and Bullseye (89cmx52cmx3mm or tekta 3mm/6mm 60x60cm, or 2mm x43x50cm). We DO NOT yet have the sheet capacity to sell Half sheets of standard Bullseye e.g. 45x52x0.3cm. Once we build up our stock levels we should be able to do this but not yet.
When will my order be posted and how long will it take?
Normally orders are filled and shipped within 1-2 working days of chockadoo receiving your order. If there are delays we will inform you and for any pre-known delays this will be advertised on Facebook and in newsletters (e.g. holidays). Special items like Kilns that need to be shipped by courier may take longer.
Delivery will depend on your location and on Australia Post delivery times. We post all your items at Bowraville (2449) Post Office.
If you need your order fast you may choose a quicker shipping method (express post) or contact us for rush options. Please note, Bowraville (2449) Post Office is not in the Express Post network hence there is no guaranteed next day delivery.
Do you have a retail store?
No. Chockadoo is a pure online store. Our premises is not setup for the public. If you wish to see the colours in person or to collect your order instead of receiving by post eg for large items, please contact us via the online chat and we will make a time that we can be available to assist you.
What is Flat rate with Insurance?
We recommend you get insurance for your order if over $100.
Items up to the value of $100 are covered by Australia Post and we will assist in recovering what we can for you. The process can take up to 2 months to be refunded by Australia Post. A refund or replacement (up to $100) will not be provided without the compensation from Australia Post.
Note if your order arrives damaged or broken, or is lost in transit, Australia Post tends not to take any ownership so insurance is more for missing parcels. Chockadoo packs based on Australia Post's lack of fragile service but they have managed to wrap stainless steel beadables into U shapes!
Can I add to my order after its placed?
Yes you can, assuming we haven't packed it already! Simply reach out to us in the chat online or email us to let us know.
Can I add a discount on my order after its placed?
No. As gift certificates, loyalty points calculations and coupons are automatically generated within our systems, to manually add once your order is difficult and fraught with human error issues hence we will no longer attempt to add on your behalf post the order.
What is a rod and how many are in 250 grams?
Great question! The glass comes in a bundle of 10 kilos and is approximately a metre in length. The length varies between 98-105 cms.
A rod is a third of the length i.e. 33-35cm in length. Below is a rough guide to the number of rods in a 250 grams bundle.

How do I claim my discount ?
When you proceed to checkout, there is a field called "Discount" where you type in your gift certificate reference or discount code. Please note you can only apply a single code per order and due to the complexity of gift certificates, loyalty points calculations/coupon creations we will not add discounts after you have placed your order.
Where are discounted items on the website?
Clearance Items are an excellent way to save money! Looking for discounted sale items? Some items show the list price and the sale price. Other items show the already reduced sale price. Do you have gift certificates?
Not sure what do buy for the glass artists in your life, try a Gift Certificate. Great for last minute gift ideas. Select the dollar amount you would like to buy for the Gift Certificate. If you need a different amount than what is shown, please contact us directly.
We will contact you to confirm the first and last name of the person you want in the "To" field on the Gift Certificate and if you would like to add a special note such as “Happy Birthday”. We can either send by email the gift certificate to the recipient or you can, enter your choice of name and address in the shipping address section of checkout.
