Australia Theme People’s Choice Glass Award: Enter to Win a $300 Chockadoo Gift Voucher!

We are thrilled to announce the Chockadoo’s Australiana Theme People’s Choice Glass Award, a special competition celebrating Australian stories and creativity through glass. Whether you’re into fused glass, lampworking, stained glass, casting, mosaics, or hot glass, this is your chance to show off your skills and share your love for Australia.

What is the Australiana Theme?

This competition is all about capturing the essence of Australia through glass. Think kangaroos, gumtrees, the ocean, our unique wildlife, and vibrant culture. If it screams “Aussie!”, it’s perfect for this challenge.

• Entries Open: 10 August 2025

• Entries Close: 31 October 2025

• Winner Announced: 6 November 2025

The Prize:

The winner will receive a $300 Chockadoo Gift Voucher to spend on any glass supplies, tools, or goodies in our store. This is a People’s Choice Award, so the entry with the most votes will win.

How to Enter:

1. Create your Australiana-themed glass piece.
   It could be a sculpture, a pendant, a bead, or a panel — let your imagination run wild.

2. Submit your entry.
   Send a clear photo of your piece, along with your name, a short description of your work, and your contact details to: 📧 competitions@chockadoo.com.au. Please ensure your entry is appropriate for all audiences. Entries containing offensive, inappropriate, or disrespectful content will not be accepted. Chockadoo reserves the right to decide which entries will be published and this decision is final.
   

3. Gather Votes.
   The piece with the most votes on our Facebook page will win the prize.

Important Voting Instructions – Please Read

This time, we are making sure the voting process is fair and clear for everyone.
Only reactions on the original Facebook post will be counted.

Here’s what this means:

• When we post your entry on Chockadoo’s official Facebook page, that post will be the only one where reactions will be counted.

• If someone shares your post or downloads your photo and re-uploads it somewhere else, the reactions on those shared or re-uploaded posts will not be counted.

• We will only count the likes, hearts, and other reactions from the original post on Chockadoo’s page.

So, when you ask friends, family, or groups to support your entry, please remind them to:
👉 React (Like, Love, etc.) on the original Chockadoo post to make their vote count.

Why did we change the rules?
We’ve updated this to make it fair for all participants. It keeps the voting transparent, avoids confusion, and ensures every entry is judged equally. Everyone can see the votes happening in one place, and no one will have an unfair advantage through post shares or re-uploads.

Chockadoo reserves the right to remove any entry that does not meet our content guidelines. The decision to publish entries is final and not open for discussion.
