Policy on missing, damaged parcels, refunds or exchanges

Return and Refund Policy:

Our return and refund policy lasts for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase. After 30 days, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund, exchange or provide replacement items.

To be eligible for a return or exchange, the item(s) must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Any item not in its original condition, damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error, will not be eligible for a return or exchange. 

Australia Post do not offer a fragile service and as the only postal service available glass items are packed to the best of our ability to reduce risk of the breakage. All glass breakages should be reported to Australia post as the courier of your parcel.

To initiate a return or exchange, please post the item(s) to 565 Lwr Buckrabendinni Road, Buckra Bendinni, NSW 2449. Kindly include your order number to facilitate a quicker turnaround.

Please note that if you return the entire order and there is no faulty product, a restocking fee will be incurred to primarily cover the discount provided in your initial shipping. This fee is necessary to cover the time and effort, as well as the cost of shipping incurred due to your incorrect choice.

We reserve the right to refuse returns or exchanges at our sole discretion. If your item is approved for a return or exchange, we will process it within 14 days of receiving it. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used during the purchase.

Damaged or missing parcels?

We recommend you get insurance for your order if over $100. 

Items up to the value of $100 are covered by Australia Post and we will assist in recovering what we can for you. The process can take up to 2 months to be refunded by Australia Post. A refund or replacement (up to $100) will not be provided without the compensation from Australia Post. 

If your parcel arrives damaged or is lost in transit - this is the responsibility of the carrier. chockadoo is not responsible for its replacement so we highly recommend you get insurance.

Refunds

Once your item has been received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or credit towards your next order. 

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

No refunds will be provided without the goods being returned. 

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded or replaced. 

Exchanges

If you need to exchange an item for another item, send us an email at info@chockadoo.com.au. Items will need to be returned undamaged to us first. 

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
