Shipping policy
- What does it cost to post to me?
We utilise Australia Post for the majority of our shipping.
Shipping Rates within Australia are listed below. For international shipping, the rates are calculated at checkout.
§ Under 500g: $11 flat rate
§ Over 500g: $18.50 flat rate
§ Free shipping on orders over $200
The weight is final weight packed, not the raw weight of the products without any packaging (ie jars, bubblewrap, boxes)
- Do you have expedited shipping options?
Need a package shipped faster? No problem! We have an express shipping option for you to choose from during checkout! Once you have given a shipping address, a list of shipping options will be generated for you on the shipping page. All expedited shipping costs will be determined by the express post largest satchel and the weight of your parcel. The cutoff for expedited orders will be 12pm (AEST) daily. Any orders placed after 12pm will ship the following day. Please note we are not in an express post area hence we experience standard postal service until the parcel reaches a central hub eg Brisbane or Sydney at which point it enters the express post area and will be expedited from there.
- Can I add more to save postage?
Shipping is set below cost from Australia Post. If you ask us to add additional items to an order already paid for and the request or orders are placed within 3 hours and we haven't already packed them we will combine. However, if the order has been packed then we reserve the right to decline your request.
If you order a kiln we cannot combine postage with other items. The kiln shipping rate on the website is a placeholder fee. Please contact us for actual cost so we can provide you a quote.
- How do I track the status of an order?
You can see which orders have shipped, and whether you have future shipments scheduled by logging into your account. When we ship each box, you'll receive a shipment notification by email. This email will contain the Australia Post tracking URL, and the tracking number.
- How often do you ship?
We ship every weekday! You can always find when your items will ship both in the shopping cart and in your receipt (by email). If you ever need to add or change an order, just contact us and we'll do our best to incorporate the changes.
- What if I need my package to arrive on a specific date?
We can't guarantee that a package will arrive on a specific date because of possible shipment issues that can occur while the package is with Australia Post (and thus out of our control), but we are happy to get it to the post office as soon as possible to ensure it arrive as quickly as possible or hold the order until you are ready to receive it.
- Where does chockadoo ship?
Chockadoo ships worldwide. If there’s a particular place you’d like to send your order let us know and we can provide you a quote.
- What happens if my parcel doesn't arrive (ie lost or stolen)
Australia Post is the carrier we utilise for all parcels within Australia. They are responsible for the delivery of your parcel. We recommend you get insurance for your order if over $100 so that if it goes missing they will be responsible for its replacement.
A $60 shipping charge will appear which is the box crate charge for Glass Sheet over 30cm in length (ie Half/Full Sheets).
Items up to the value of $100 are covered by Australia Post and we will assist in recovering what we can for you. The process can take up to 2 months to be refunded by Australia Post. A refund or replacement (up to $100) will not be provided without the compensation from Australia Post.
We take a duty of care to ensure it is packed securely and provide you with tracking details. chockadoo is not responsible for the replacement of parcel not delivered by Australia Post.
