Brisbane & Sydney Bulk Glass Pickup Runs

At chockadoo, we know how quickly freight costs can add up when ordering large sheet glass and fragile supplies, especially for interstate delivery.

To help reduce shipping costs and make ordering easier, we’re exploring a Brisbane and Sydney bulk glass pickup run every 2 months.

This would allow customers to place prepaid online orders and collect them from a central pickup location or scheduled route stop during our delivery run.

Pickup Run Schedule

Please note these dates are currently proposed only and may change depending on demand, participation levels, and final route planning.

Brisbane Pickup Runs

• 22 August 2026
• 11 October 2026

Sydney Pickup Runs

• 12 September 2026
• 7 November 2026

Store Pickup

Prefer to collect your order from our store? You're welcome to do so.

Store pickup is available throughout the year during our normal collection hours, giving you the flexibility to collect your order whenever it suits you.

Simply select Store Pickup at checkout, and we'll notify you when your order is ready for collection.

Final pickup locations, collection windows, and order deadlines will be announced closer to each run date.

We recommend joining the interest list so you can receive updates, reminders, and booking information as soon as dates are confirmed.

NEED A HALF SHEET?

We stock a wide range of Bullseye Full Sheets, Bullseye Half Sheets, and Oceanside Full Sheets.

If the colour you're looking for is only available as a full sheet, email sales@chockadoo.com.au before placing your order. We may be able to cut a half sheet for you, subject to stock availability.

How It Works

Every couple of months, we would travel through selected Brisbane and Sydney locations with customer orders grouped into a bulk delivery run.

Customers would:

• Place and prepay their order online through our website
• Select products in advance of the run
• Collect their order from a designated pickup point during the scheduled collection window

This service is designed to reduce freight costs on:

• Large sheet glass
• Fragile items
• Bulk orders
• Studio orders
• Oversized items that are expensive to ship individually

Please note this is a collection-only service and not a door-to-door delivery.

How To Select Your Pickup Location At Checkout

To make ordering easier, we’ve created a quick step-by-step tutorial showing how to select your pickup location during checkout.

Terms & Conditions

Collection From Designated Locations

Orders must be collected from the nominated pickup location during the allocated time window.

We will not be doing individual home deliveries during the run.

Pickup Window

Each location will have a scheduled 2-hour collection window.

Customers must arrive within this timeframe to collect their order.

Exact details will be shared prior to the run.

Missed Pickup Policy

If you miss your allocated pickup window:

• Your order will not remain at the pickup location
• A courier or freight option will need to be arranged afterwards
• Any additional shipping costs will be at the customer’s expense

Order Submission Deadline

Orders must be placed within 3 days of the announced closing date for each run to be included.

Late orders may need to wait for the next scheduled run.

Sheet Glass Selection

All sheet glass must be preselected before the run.

To ensure accurate packing:

• Please provide photos or screenshots of your selected sheets.
• Selections must be confirmed before packing begins.

Loose browsing or selecting sheets at pickup will not be available.

Scheduling & Minimum Demand

To make bulk pickup runs viable and help keep costs down for everyone, each run will require a minimum level of participation.

If demand is lower than expected, we may delay or combine runs until enough orders are received for that area.

We’ll always keep customers updated with any changes to scheduling.

What To Expect On Pickup Day

Before the run, customers will receive:

• Pickup location details
• Collection time range
• Final instructions for collection

Please note:

• Sheet glass will generally be handed over loose and not pre-boxed
• Smaller items and accessories may be boxed or bagged
• Customers are responsible for checking their order at the time of pickup

Once collected, responsibility for transport transfers to the customer.

What To Bring

Please come prepared to safely transport your order.

We recommend bringing:

• Blankets
• Towels
• Foam or padding
• Cardboard separators
  
• Any other protective packing materials

Large sheet glass can be fragile, so proper packing in your vehicle is important.
