Bullseye 329 Burnt Orange Striker Opaque frit offers a warm earthy orange tone that develops into a deeper burnt orange when fired, suitable for a wide range of fused glass applications. Powder grade frit melts quickly and evenly, producing a flat, paint-like surface when full fused.

This frit is produced from crushed, screened, and magnetically cleaned Bullseye-compatible sheet glass to ensure consistency and compatibility within the Bullseye COE 90 system.

Cold Characteristics

Opalescent. Slight mottle and orange-peel texture.

Working Notes

At full fuse and capped with clear glass, the mottling may remain but become faint in transmitted light. Lighter wisps may appear in reflected light. When uncapped, the mottling tends to even out, and the colour becomes more consistent and even.

This style is not suitable for kiln casting because it can become incompatible when held at high temperatures for an extended period. It may also become incompatible in instances where processes exceed the parameters of the test for compatibility. Testing is recommended when heat work exceeds these parameters.
