Flame Type: Prefers a neutral flame. Too much reduction can muddy the clarity, so keep your flame balanced and calm.

Working Properties: Melts easily and stays smooth and molten. Great for sculpting delicate shapes like floral petals. When pressed or flattened with brass tools, it thins out to a beautiful pale pink that stays transparent.

Colour Saturation: Used thin, it gives a lovely subtle pink blush. When layered or used solid, the colour is much richer but still transparent, so you get depth without losing that gorgeous clarity.

Compatibility: COE 104 — works beautifully with other COE 104 rods. The flowers in my sample beads use Reichenbach Pastel Green for the centre detail, which pairs nicely with Pink Lady.

Photographing: This glass really shines in natural light — you’ll see the soft pink come alive, showing off its true shade and the light play inside your bead or pendant.
