Vetrofond was a manufacturer in Italy that matched Effetre's colour number and compatibility. The company is no longer manufacturing lampworking glass so all Vetrofond is now limited edition.This colour is lead free but Cadmium is present
- "This rich, dark brown glass shows off deep cocoa colours.
It is easy to work in a neutral flame and melts to soft, pliable consistency.
It is the perfect glass to create sculptural and hand shaped beads and once cooled, it returns to its original colour in its opaque form. If stringers are pulled, they remain the consistency as the rod form and can be used to add details in the same opaque shade.
A great colour and should be in everyone’s basic glass collection".
