Dense White Opal provides opacity with weight and presence, long central to graphic clarity and structural contrast in glass. It defines form decisively while anchoring surrounding colour.
Stringers offer Bullseye colour in a fine, linear format for detailed kilnformed and torchworked glass. Pulled from remelted Bullseye Compatible sheet glass, they retain the character and working properties of the original colour in a slender, versatile form.Used for linework, stringer sheets, borders, and surface patterning, they can be laid on the surface, embedded between layers, or arranged to build graphic and rhythmic compositions. These stringers are available in 0.5 mm for a fine line and are approximately 451 mm long.They are packaged in clear plastic tubes measuring 457 mm long and 19 mm in diameter. Counts per tube vary by thickness and colour.
Like Bullseye sheet glass, stringers are made by hand, and slight variation is normal.

Bullseye is COE090 and isn't compatible with Effetre or Vetrofond Rods. Annealing Temperature range is 505- 520 Celsius

Working Notes
This glass can be unstable when subjected to the extended network (pattern bars, pot melts, boiled effect, kiln casting, etc.). Firing above 1500°F (815°C) for more than 15 minutes or firing slowly between 1250°F (677°C) and 1500°F (815°C) may result in an unstable glass. More susceptible to contaminants that seed devitrification than other glasses in the Bullseye line. Cap with clear or plan to treat the surface (sandblast, coldwork, or apply clear powder and refire) after firing.
No colour shift upon firing. A dark interface reaction is possible with sulfur-bearing glasses (001137, 000137). Dense White Powder (000313-0008F) is recommended for surface use only. It may crackle when used between sheet glass layers.
