Though listed as opaque, Tammy Withham found this glass behaves more like a transparent. It handles heat beautifully — no bubbling or pitting — and stays very dark, appearing almost black in natural light. When paired with an ivory band and another layer of Topaz, the rich brown-gold colour really pops.

Best for heat-heavy work and for creating contrast effects with lighter colours like ivory.
