A rich, vivid purple that shifts from lavender to deep plum. Soft working but fussy — can boil, pit, or devitrify if overheated. Needs a gentle flame and minimal reheating. Reduces to a shiny, greyish-purple mirror.

Reacts dramatically with ivory (black blotches) and silver (mottled yellow textures). Strikes pink edges with TerraNova2 and shows green and yellow hints — great for artists who love reactive effects. Best used in small areas or etched if surface flaws appear.
