Latest colours that have arrived from Lauscha in Germany. Lauscha rods are hand pulled in small batches, continuing a glass tradition that began in 1597.
The viscosity of this glass offers long working times and less thermal shock. Absent is the boiling and scumming that plagues Italian soft glass. Lauscha is 104 compatible. As with all glass, variations in COE occur, and testing is suggested. Their clears are legend! They also offer marble stock (special order), and have an abundance of incredible striped rods, both with and without goldstone. Lauscha makes the colours to make glass ornaments.
