Hyperion Rod

A pearlescent glass made by Double Helix. The glass is COE 104

It€™s a strong reduction colour that is designed to strike automatically during the bead making process to medium amber. To maintain the cleanest colour, reset Hyperion until the glass appears clear, and reduce very lightly. Encasing the light reduction in clear results in a purple pearlescent lustre with a warm, honey coloured undertone.

Pearlescent colours are reduction colours that hold their silver lustre under a layer of clear. The encasing of the lustre results in a shimmering like that of a pearl or sea shell. Reduction glasses contain silver that; when properly heated, cooled and touched by a reducing flame, will come to the surface of the glass to create a thin layer of silver.

All tested compatible with Effetre Clear 104 coe.
