Flame Type: It loves a neutral flame. The glass is quite stiff when working, which makes it perfect for forming hollow shapes and keeping crisp edges.
Working Properties: In hollow bead work, the stiffness really shines — I found it easy to control, with the colour staying vivid and true. For comparison, I also made a smaller solid bead, plus pulled fine stringers to add decorative scrollwork to the surface. The colour stayed consistent right through, matching the rod beautifully.
Colour Quality: You get that lovely saturated lime green, but it still holds its transparency — even in spacers made with a graphite roller, the green remains vibrant and clear. This means your details don’t get lost and the light really dances through the glass.
Compatibility: COE 104 — works well with other 104 rods. The consistent colour and stiffness make it ideal for both sculptural and surface decoration.
Photographing: Natural light brings out the juicy lime tones. It’s a brilliant shade for adding pops of fresh, zesty colour to your beads or fused glass projects.
The annealing Temperature range is 505- 520 Celsius.
