A bright, true cherry red opaque glass with a touch of translucency. Tested by Melanie Graham, who notes it stays vibrant in small beads but can grey out with too much heat or in larger work. Needs careful flame control to keep its rich red tone.

Tammy Withham calls it “the true red I’ve been looking for”, saying it stayed bright and vibrant even when used with silvered ivory stringer and deep Reichenbach black shards. Over Opal Raspberry, the red stayed true and didn’t muddy.

Best for small-scale designs where you want bold red colour. Can react with silver and ivory for webbed, organic effects but needs practice to avoid dulling.

The annealing Temperature range is 505- 520 Celsius.
