Bullseye 216 Light Cyan Opaque frit offers a soft, pastel blue-green tone with a smooth, milky opacity, delivering a calm and refreshing appearance. Powder grade frit melts quickly and evenly, producing a flat, paint-like surface when full fused.

This frit is produced from crushed, screened, and magnetically cleaned Bullseye-compatible sheet glass to ensure consistency and compatibility within the Bullseye COE 90 system.

Cold Characteristics

Very slight orange-peel mottling.

Working Notes

At full fuse, capped or uncapped, the mottling disappears and the colour is consistent, even and pure. At slumping temperatures and low-tack fusing temperatures (1150-1325°F/621-718°C), grey clouding may occur, similar to Steel Blue Opalescent (000146), especially where contamination from oils and/or cleaner is left behind during the cleaning process. Solution: cap this colour with clear or test for each specific application. The clouding can be erased from an uncapped piece by capping it with clear glass and firing to a full fuse.
